La ineludible y más importante cita anual para el mundo del cine, los Oscars, está al caer. Y la verdad, estamos ya impacientes por ver cómo irán vestidas las estrellas. Mientras tanto, para matar el gusanillo, dedicamos este post a mostrar una retrospectiva con algunos de los estilismos más despampanantes de la época dorada del cine, los años 40 y 50. En estas décadas la cultura americana se volvió dominante en Europa, y las películas de Hollywood se convirtieron en el medio perfecto para su difusión. Las actrices fueron adquiriendo cada vez más fama, hasta convertise en verdaderos iconos, con quienes las mejores casas de moda y joyería se aliaron. Cada una de sus apariciones en la alfombra roja era un verdadero acontecimiento, rodeado de lujo y espectáculo.
